Our Canadian Red Cross, WSIB-approved Blended Llearning program is a 2-step process to complete the full 3-year WSIB-Approved certification. Attending a Skills Session is part 2 and upon successful completion full certification is provided.

STEP 1 - COMPLETE THE ONLINE THEORY See course details here.

STEP 2 - ATTEND AN IN-CLASS SKILLS SESSION Following the completion of the online theory, participants are required to attend the in-class portion of the course. These in-class skills sessions led by a Canadian Red Cross Instructor are focused on the practical skills such as performing CPR, how to correctly use an AED, and so on. Participants gain hands-on experience in small group sessions without sharing equipment and in compliance with physical distancing mandates as we move forward. Students then complete their training with a multiple-choice knowledge evaluation which assesses both online and practical learning.

The Blended Program in its completion meets legislation requirements for provincial worker safety and insurance boards (WSIB in Ontario) for all workplaces/sites and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
