Our WSIB-approved blended learning program allows you to complete any Canadian Red Cross WSIB-Approved first aid & CPR/AED certifications in just 2 simple steps! Our blended learning program is a combination of online and in-class instruction. Work at your own pace to complete the online learning portion of the program then, come in for your skills session to put what you've learned into practice.

STEP 1: ONLINE LEARNING MODULES

Once registration payment has been received, participants are set up with the online learning portal and receive getting started details.

In each module students will engage in multimedia learning experiences before successfully answering questions to proceed to the next module. Here students will be taught the fundamental concepts of the training through a series of interactive online modules. Students can complete the modules at their own pace, from any device. All modules MUST be completed PRIOR to the in person Skills Session date. Once online training is complete students will receive a temporary proof of training card.

  • Instant access
  • Complete at your own pace
  • Accessible on all devices
  • Time requirement approximately 5 to 8 hours, depending on familiarity with the content

STEP 2: IN-CLASS SKILLS SESSION

Following the completion of the online learning modules students are required to attend an in-class skills session to complete certification. Led by a Canadian Red Cross Instructor, skill sessions focus on the application of practical skills. Participants gain hands-on experience in a safe way that is done without sharing equipment and in compliance with physical distancing requirements. The training ends with a mandatory multiple-choice knowledge evaluation that will be based on both in-class and online learning.
