Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System

Learn about the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System 2015 training after its alignment with the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), an internationally consistent approach to classifying chemicals and communicating hazard information through labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDSs).

Participants will learn about the expected impacts of these changes for chemical suppliers and employers, how to transition a workplace to the new requirements, how to understand labels and identify hazards and their classes, as well as understand the appropriate protective measures by reading the new Safety Data Sheets (SDSs). Hands on participation in preparing labels personalized to your workplace chemicals ensures compliance with the training regulations.

Course Times: 2 to hours depending on enrollment

  • At our Training Facility in Midland
  • On-Site at your Office or Workplace
  • Rented location

Course Includes: Participant workbook, wall certificate, laminated wallet card, Record of Training

Course Prerequisites: None

*Annual refresher training recommended.
