How can I get a reprint of my past training certificate?

We are happy to reprint and send certificates to you so long as they are still within the expiry date. Please note that there may be a reprint fee of $5 to $25 depending on the type of certificate. Please send your inquiry by email to Jennifer Watson with the following information and expect to hear back within 1-5 business days: jennifer@firstforsafety.ca

  1. Full name (Please provide the name that would have been on the certificate)
  2. Current phone number
  3. Email address
  4. Type of course you completed
  5. Date you completed it. If you can't remember, please provide as many details as possible.
*Please note that we can not issue Working At Heights, LiftSafe and some other certificates directly. Contact us if you have lost or had your card stolen and we will help.

How do I get a reprint of my IHSA Working at Heights certificate (proof of training) card?

Since all proof of training cards are issued by the Ministry of Labour, we can not provide you with a reprint here at First For Safety. If you have lost/misplaced your Working At Heights proof of training card, you may either:

  • Complete the IHSA's online Replacement Certificate Reprint form and they will send you a replacement card: https://ihsa.formstack.com/forms/ihsa_request_form_certificate_reprint
  • Call the Ministry of Labour Contact Centre at 1-877-202-0008

How do I validate a first aid and CPR certificate a new employee has provided me?

You are more than welcome to contact Jennifer Watson, Training Coordinator, to confirm the validity of a certificate handed to you for a new or existing hire.

If they have completed their training as of October 1, 2017, you can use their Certificate ID# and Last Name to "Validate A Certificate" on the Canadian Red Cross website. Further information is available on this supportive handout on how to validate a certificate.

What is the product return policy?

Return Policy

If you feel unsatisfied with a product provided to you from First for Safety, you may return the product within 60 days from date of purchase for a full refund or product exchange. Products must be returned or exchanged with/in original packaging in resalable condition with invoice. First for Safety has the right to refuse if original invoice is not presented at time of return or exchange or if the product is not in resalable condition.

Any return of special order items will be subject to a restocking fee and freight to return back to supplier unless stated otherwise on invoice.


All fall protection gear, fire extinguishers and hard hats are final sale.
