Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR "B"

One-day course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) skills and training for the workplace or home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial early childhood education and day care worker and safety requirements, includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

COURSE CONTENT: Content includes chapters in The Red Cross, Preparing to respond, The EMS System, Check Call Care, Airway and Breathing Emergencies, Choking, Sudden Medical emergencies, Poisons, Caring for children.

CPR LEVELS:

• CPR Level B (Infant, Child)

SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; A half-hour lunch period as well as two short breaks (AM/PM) are provided throughout the training session.

CERTIFICATION: Certification valid for 3 years.

COMPLETION:

• Successfully demonstrate skills and critical steps
• Min. 75% mark for written knowledge evaluation
• Attend and participate in 100% of the course

Comprehensive Guide to First Aid & CPR (eBook), Emergency Child Care FA Certificate, Classroom copy of the CRC First Aid Manual to borrow during course.

• $135.00 + HST per Participant
